Dear S.Nirvikar Singh
Your article is cool & well analysed. I aggree with your
impression that 'Mcleod and Harjot shared a trait of mixing
detailed scholarship with unsupported claims' and coming to sweeping conclusions. A scholar must understand a community's beliefs, traditions and history before summing up
their views and hurting them.
regards and Best Wishes

Despite his controversial views, Dr.Mcleod deserves our appreciation for bringing Sikh Studies to the forefronts of Academia. Opinions can always be revised with new research & understanding. Kirpal Singh, Daytona Beach, Florida

Well done S Nirvikar Singh for pointing to the "Sant" tradition fraud. Also we are lucky to have the monumental work of Dr Baldev Singh on McLeod:
