Sikhs Among 59 Killed in Terrorist attack in Kenya
NAIROBI, KENYA (September 22, 2013)—A Sikh youth named Pavraj ‘Pablo’ Singh Ghataurhae has been reported as one of the victims killed by al Qaeda linked Somalian terrorist group al-Shabab in terrorist attack inside the Westgate Mall in Nairobi Kenya.
Pavraj Singh was on the top most floor of the Mall for a cooking competition along with his cousin who was competing when Terrorists started shooting at only non Muslims. The cousin reportedly was injured but is still alive.
The terrorists armed with AK-47s on Saturday Afternoon, killed only non-Muslims Inside the mall and freed Muslims.
Satpal Singh, 36, who was present on the top most floor of the Mall ran for his life and near the main exit he was Shot at.
“A Somali guy shot at me. The guy who shot me was carrying a rifle, an AK-47.”
59 people as of late Sunday Morning, including Pavraj Singh and his grandmother among other Sikhs, and other children were declared dead while another 293 people were injured including Satpal Singh and Pavraj’s Cousin. There is no official count of the number of Sikhs killed in the attack but initial reports suggest More then 5 Sikhs were killed.

“The gunmen tried to fire at my head but missed. At least 50 people were shot. There are definitely many casualties,” mall employee Sudjar Singh told AFP.
“I saw a young boy carried out on a shopping cart, it looked like he was about 5 or 6. It looked like he was gone, he was not moving or making any noise.”
Police as suggested to local residents to stay away as the Mall is Still under siege and many are still trapped Inside.
