The Golden Temple is placed central to the scene with the pilgrims in multi colored clothes filling up the parikrams in the back ground . The Dukh Bhanjani Beri in the foreground shades a room where a granthi is reading the Guru Granth Sahib. The devotees can be seen sitting around the sarovar while some drying their clothes after taking their dips in the sarovar built by Guru Ram Das.

Sukhpreet Singh is an artist whose work is fast gaining increasing appreciation all over the world. He has shown his works in India, Canada, U.S.A, UK, Australia, Italy and Russia including an exhibit at the University of Berkeley in 1997. He has unique artistic relationship with the Golden Temple, having painted it in its myriad hues. He is the only artist who has created the unique and exquisite paintings of the Kar Sewa undertaken at the Golden Temple in 2006.
