Dive into the transformative “Unveiling Gurbani’s Essence: A Six-Week Journey with Leena Singh” at Gurdwara Sahib Singh Sabha Milpitas, designed to immerse participants in the profound teachings of Sikh spirituality. This series will guide attendees through the depths of Gurbani, highlighting key concepts such as Sacha (Truth) and Jeevan Mukat (Liberation), and examining the significance of Rehras alongside other pivotal Sikh terms. Each class promises a deep, interactive exploration of themes like Naam, Mool Mantar, and the pursuit of spiritual equilibrium through Sehaj, providing a foundation for understanding and connecting more deeply with one’s faith.

Leena Singh, whose journey from engineering to music encapsulates a life led by passion and devotion, will lead the series. An accomplished musician and the founder of the Sikh Heritage Symphony, Leena has dedicated herself to reviving ancient string instruments such as the Rabab, Taus, Dilruba, and Saranda, with the aim of preserving Sikh musical heritage and enriching lives with the spiritual and emotional resonance of Gurbani. With her extensive training in both the Rabab and vocals, under the tutelage of Ustad Homayoun Sakhi and Dr. Sisirkana Dhar Chowdhury respectively, and enriched by the blessing of Gurmat Sangeet learning from Dr. Gurnam Singh ji, Leena brings a unique blend of artistic talent and spiritual insight to this series. Join us for an enlightening journey into Sikh spirituality and music, guided by Leena’s expertise and heartfelt devotion.
